McKibben Powersports of Sebring is an authorized Polaris® dealer at 7820 Tractor Rd, Sebring, FL 33876. We stock new Polaris side by sides, ATVs and Slingshot, take trades on any brand, sell genuine Polaris parts and Lock & Ride accessories, and service Polaris machines in our own shop.
Highlands County runs on cattle, citrus and caladiums, and a Polaris RANGER is standard equipment on a good number of those operations. We see the same machines come back through the service department year after year with high hours on them, which tells us more about how they hold up in this climate than any brochure could.
What makes this store different from most Polaris dealers is what sits beside the Polaris. We also carry Can-Am and Honda, so if you are torn between a RANGER, a Defender and a Pioneer, you can settle it here in one visit. Below is a walkthrough of the Polaris lineup, how we help you choose, and what happens after the sale.
New & Used Polaris® for Sale in Sebring
Floor stock moves quickly. Use this as a map of the families Polaris builds, then check live inventory for what is at the Sebring store right now.
RANGER for ranch and grove work
RANGER 570 is the sensible starting point for a smaller property or a hunting lease. RANGER XP 1000 is the volume seller for people who tow and haul seriously. Crew models seat the whole crew so nobody makes a second trip, and RANGER XD 1500 is the heavy duty answer for operations that work a machine every day of the week.
RANGER XP Kinetic is the electric version. Quiet matters on a hunting lease and on cattle ground where noise moves animals, and there are fewer routine service items to keep on top of.
RZR for riding
RZR Trail and Trail S are the narrow models that fit marked trails and wooded tracks. RZR XP 1000 and Turbo R bring the suspension travel and power that open sand and rough ground reward. RZR Pro R sits at the top of the range.
RZR 200 EFI is the youth machine, with speed limiting, a helmet-aware safety system and geo-fencing options through Ride Command. It is the model parents keep buying because it can be dialled back at first and opened up as the rider improves.
Sportsman ATVs
Sportsman 450 H.O. and 570 handle fence checking, feed runs and general property work without being more machine than most people need. Sportsman 850 and XP 1000 add power for towing and rough going, Sportsman Touring carries a passenger, and Scrambler is the sportier take.
Youth models such as the Outlaw 70 and Outlaw 110 come with adjustable speed settings and a safety tether so a first machine can be limited to what the rider can actually handle.
GENERAL, XPEDITION and Slingshot
GENERAL is the crossover with a dump bed and sportier suspension, for owners who honestly do both jobs. XPEDITION is the adventure model with cargo capacity and available enclosed cab options for long days and bad weather.
Polaris Slingshot® is the three wheel roadster, and we carry it here as its own line. It is a very different proposition from an off-road machine and it draws a different buyer, so it has its own section in the brands menu.
RANGER, Defender or Pioneer: Compare Them Here
This is the single most common question we get on the utility side, and it is usually decided by something nobody notices online. How high you have to step in. Whether you can see the front corners over the hood. How the seat and the belt sit when you are wearing work clothes. Whether the bed latch is something you can operate one handed with gloves on.
Because we carry Polaris, Can-Am and Honda at this store, we can put the three of them side by side and let you work through it in twenty minutes. We are not trying to talk you out of one and into another, because all three are ours to sell.
The same is true on three wheels. Polaris Slingshot and the Can-Am Ryker and Spyder end up on the same shopping list even though they are completely different machines, one a cockpit you sit in and the other a seat you sit on. Try both and the decision usually makes itself.
Polaris® Service and Parts in Sebring
Our service department covers Polaris maintenance and repair on site: oil and filter service, CVT belt and clutch work, differential fluids, brakes, bearings, suspension, tires, electrical diagnosis and warranty repairs.
If your machine works a Highlands County property, the two service items that get neglected most are the air filter and the differential fluid. Dust in the dry months clogs filters faster than owners expect, and machines that spend time in wet pasture and canal crossings pick up water in the diffs long before the service interval says to look. Both are cheap to stay ahead of and expensive to ignore.
We stock genuine Polaris parts and Lock & Ride accessories and can order what is not on the shelf. Booking an accessory fit through the service department means it goes on correctly the first time, which matters more than people think on winches and roof mounts.
Financing, Trades and Current Offers
Start a credit application online before you drive out and the paperwork stops being the slow part of the visit. We have added lenders to our network recently, which gives us more room to work with a wider range of credit situations. Rate, term and approval depend on credit and are not guaranteed in advance.
Polaris runs promotional financing and rebate programs through the year and they carry real end dates. Publishing one here would only mean it is wrong in six weeks, so call and ask what is live on the exact model you want. We will tell you what qualifies and what does not.
Trades are welcome on any brand. Bring the title and any service records. If you want a ballpark before you make the drive, use the online trade valuation tool on this site for a starting number, then we will confirm it once the machine is in front of us.

Buy for the job it does most days
People shop for the exciting weekend and then live with the machine on a Tuesday. If nine days out of ten it is checking fence, moving feed or carrying tools, buy the RANGER and be happy. If nine days out of ten it is riding for fun, buy the RZR. Buying the fun machine for a work job is the mistake that ends in a trade eighteen months later at a loss.
Seat count is the decision you cannot undo
Width can be worked around and horsepower can be lived with. Seats cannot. If family, grandkids or a work crew ride with you more than occasionally, buy the Crew model first time. Almost nobody regrets the extra row and plenty of people regret making two trips every weekend.
Plan the roof and cab into the deal
In this county a roof is not an accessory, it is the reason the machine gets used in July and August. Add a windshield if you run dusty grove rows, and consider a full cab if you are outside year round. These cost less rolled into the purchase than retrofitted later, and the fitment is cleaner.
Match the machine to the youngest rider
Polaris youth models have real safety systems built in, including adjustable speed limiting that you set rather than the rider. Florida places restrictions on where and how minors may operate off-highway vehicles and on protective gear. Ask us and confirm the current state requirements before the first ride rather than after.
Shopping a used Polaris®
Read the hour meter rather than the odometer. Ask when the belt was last replaced and whether the clutch has ever been opened. Check the A-arms and skid plate for impact damage, feel for play in the wheel bearings and ball joints, and find out whether the previous owner rode in salt water or deep mud, because both leave marks that show up later. Every trade we take is inspected before it goes on the floor.
Serving Polaris® Owners Across Highlands County
Our Sebring store on Tractor Road serves Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, Lorida, Venus and the surrounding ranch and grove country. We regularly see customers from Wauchula, Zolfo Springs, Arcadia, Okeechobee and Frostproof, and from Lake Wales and Winter Haven to the north.
McKibben also operates powersports stores in Lake Wales and LaBelle, plus a boating center here in Sebring. If the trim or colour you want is at another store in the group, we move it here instead of telling you it is gone.

Polaris® Questions We Get Asked
Is McKibben Powersports an authorized Polaris dealer in Sebring?
Yes. McKibben Powersports of Sebring is an authorized Polaris dealer at 7820 Tractor Rd, Sebring, FL 33876. We sell new Polaris units including Slingshot, register factory warranties, stock genuine Polaris parts and accessories, and carry out Polaris service and warranty work in our own shop.
Can I compare a Polaris RANGER against a Can-Am Defender at your store?
Yes. Our Sebring store carries Polaris, Can-Am and Honda, so you can sit in a RANGER, a Defender and a Pioneer in one visit rather than driving to three separate dealers. We sell all three brands, so the comparison you get is not weighted toward one of them.
Do you sell the Polaris Slingshot in Sebring?
Yes, Polaris Slingshot is carried at the Sebring store as its own line in our brands menu, separate from the off-road Polaris range. Availability varies by model and colour, so call 863.699.2453 to check what is on the floor before you drive over.
Which Polaris is best for a Highlands County ranch or grove?
For most working properties around Sebring, Avon Park and Lake Placid it comes down to a RANGER 570 for lighter duty or a RANGER XP 1000 for heavier towing and hauling, with a Crew model if passengers ride regularly. Measure your gates and any row spacing before you decide on width, and plan a roof into the purchase.
Do you service Polaris machines bought from another dealer?
Yes. Our technicians service Polaris side by sides, ATVs and Slingshot regardless of where they were purchased, covering routine maintenance, belt and clutch work, tires, suspension and diagnosis. Bring service records if you have them, and warranty paperwork if the machine is still covered.
